VENDOR RULES AND REGULATIONS

Vendor Information
- All vendors should sell items which reflect the influences of Africa, African-Americans, or other Africans in the Diaspora.

General Information
- Vendor’s booth fees are as follows: $100 Early Bird Special $125 after August 7th. (No personal checks
- No reservations will be accepted unless submitted with application and fee.

- There will be a there will be a charge of $35.00 for electrical power.

Deadline for submitting your completed application is August 19th, 2010.
- Food and merchandise vendors must submit a picture of food and merchandise to be sold at the festival.

The sale of alcohol and alcoholic beverages are strictly prohibited.
- We provide vendors with a 10 x 10 space vendors provide their own tables, chairs, and tent. For tent rentals we recommend www.spacewalkofjacksonville.com.

Merchandise Vendors
- The sales of T-shirts and other items advertising Kuumba is strictly prohibited.
- The sale of bootlegged materials, items that portray profanity, sexual language, and/or sexual images is strictly prohibited.

Food Vendors
- ALL food vendors are required to meet the guidelines of the Department of Business and Professional Relations.
- You may be required to get a temporary food service permit. For more information and to request a temporary food permit, call (850) 487-1395.
- A copy of your food permit must be submitted along with application, picture, and payment.
- The sale of pork products is prohibited. Vendors will not be allowed to sell bottled or brand named beverages of any kind. However, vendors (on a first come, first serve basis) are permitted to sell self created specialty beverages such as teas, lemonades etc.

Non-Profit/Community Vendors
- Non-profit and community organizations should display and/or provide information that is relevant to the uplifting and improvement the African-American community.
- To order promotional material for your booth, or to arrange for photo or video coverage, contact our marketing specialist at www.blacksonville.com or marketing[at]blacksonville.com.

There is no charge to non-profits unless they are selling food and/or merchandise.
